We import, design, manufacture unique clocks, hourglasses, and weather instruments. Our company began over 30 years ago when Jeff Marden decided he wanted to sell cuckoo clocks at the best prices. He often traveled back and forth from Germany securing the best deals on the best quality and most unique cuckoo clocks. He started in St. Louis and became partners with a gentleman from Lacrosse, Wisconsin and after careful consideration the company was named after what both cites had in common, the Mississippi river.
After the cuckoo clock business picked up we started selling traditional clocks, hourglasses, weather instruments, and tons of other types of clocks. Throughout the years the business has moved form Lacrosse, Wisconsin to right outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Since we moved to St. Louis our building has been flooded twice from another river, the Meramec, a tributary of the Mississippi. In 2016 we started designing and manufacturing a select line of specialty clocks and hourglasses.

Your River City clock is warranted free from defects, in materials and workmanship, for a period of two years. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of a defective clock without charge.
This warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Please enclose a copy of the sales receipt. Warranty void without proof of purchase.
Warranty service is available by returning the clock, postage prepaid, along with a check in the amount of $10.00 made payable to River City for return postage and handling. Please double box your clock with packaging material so that it is suitable for remailing. Allow 2-4 weeks for warranty repair.
The following situations are not covered under this warranty:
1. Damage sustained while in transit or through misuse and/ or abuse.
2. Repairs done by anyone other than an authorized River City Service Center technician.

It is suggested you insure the clock to cover any damage that may occur during shipment. Include your check in the amount of $17.50 for return shipment with a note describing the nature of the defect. Please enclose a daytime phone number and a shipping address..
